if i'm an excellent plumber, and you are an incredible carpenter, together we can build a house and sustain it. and if i get caught up in my insecurities about what a terrible carpenter i am, and how much better you are, i could be neglecting my duties as a plumber…the very thing i'm clearly most useful at. when i become distracted with my stories, the toilet backs up and that's no good.
if the person next to me is unstable can i stand tall on their behalf? and if i am the one falling, can i look up to them for inspiration and strength? is it possible that everyone has a piece to the puzzle, and until we work on coming together the puzzle remains in pieces?
